GARTZ IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE (4-21-2026)
David Gartz was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on Kwage Mesa by the horse stables on North Mesa. He was 3 seconds off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Sanna Sevanto with a 4 second difference; Zeke Wilmot recording 7 seconds off; Madeline Harms with a 13 second difference; and Zach Medin at 14 seconds off.
On the 1 mile course 11 year old Levi Gartz was the first finisher with a 7:56 and 7 year old Ivana Velechovsky was the best female recording a 11:40.
Warren Scoggins had a 25:22 for first place in the 2 mile distance.
On the 3 mile course Lukas Zavorka was the top finisher with a 20:34 and Lynn Bjorklund was the first female at 25:47.
Next Week's race will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at 6:00 PM on the Canada del Buey Trail in White Rock. The start will be on Meadow Lane by the Chamisa Elementary School right across from Saint Joseph's Hall Catholic Church. 1, 2, and 3 mile courses will be available.

WILMOT IS BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE (4-14-2026)
Zeke Wilmot was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Bayo Canyon Road at the bottom of Main Hill Road at 1 second off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Felix Candia with a 3 second difference; Valerio Pinchetti recording 5 seconds off; Eric Anderson at 10 seconds off his prediction; and Lynn Bjorklund with a 12 second difference as well as the first female finisher in the 3 mile distance at 25:57.
11 year old Levi Gartz was the top finisher on the 1 mile course with a time of 8:17 and the best female was 7 year old Ivana Velechovsky recording a 13:06.
In the 2 mile distance Warren Scoggins finished first at 27:56 and Catherine Hensley was the top female coming in at 36:34.
Paul Geimer was the best finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 20:07.
Next week's race will held on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 at 6:00 PM on North Mesa just past the horse stables to the South of the rodeo arena by the rest rooms. 1, 2, and 3 mile courses will be available.

ROJAS IS THE TOP PREDICTOR IN THE FIRST PACE RACE OF THE SEASON (4-7-2026)
Aurea Rojas was the best predictor in the first pace race opening the 52nd season held on the Canyon Rim Trail. She was 4 seconds off her predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Felix Candia recording a 6 second difference; 4 year old Robin Bujack at 8 seconds off; Edith Acosta coming in at 27 seconds off; and tied at 29 seconds was Roxana Bujack who also was the first finisher in the 2 mile distance at 22:03 and Lynn Bjorklund the best 3 mile female finisher with a time of 24:16.
On the 1 mile course 7 year old Ivana Velechovsky was the top finisher coming in at 10:33. The first male was Steve Daly at 11:40.
In the 2 mile distance the best male was Ting Dang recording a 26:21.
Paul Geimer was the top performer on the 3 mile course with a time of 18:50.
Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at 6:00 PM and will start on the road to the pollution control plant in Bayo Canyon which is located towards the bottom of Main Hill Road (State Route # 502) by taking a left just before the junction of State Route # 4 to White Rock. 1, 2, and 3 mile courses will be available.
